Though it was possible to ride this past weekend, it was colder than I enjoy riding. So I did the next best thing and worked on bikes. Butternut, the Salsa Casseroll, got new Honjo fenders. Ribby, the Bridgestone RB-1, got a new saddle. Duke, the Fuji S-12S, got set up with Campy triple for my older son, Hunter, to ride. This took most of Saturday and Sunday, with a big part of the time spent dialing the Honjo fenders in just right. It took several trials, test rides and readjustments using a lot of hammering and bending and cussing before I finally got it to where I was happy with it.
